It’s Your Own Damn Fault

I have begun to take inventory of my life.  And I must say, there have been times that I have fallen short.   I failed to do things that would bring about the change I wanted to see in my life.  And you know what?  It’s my own damn fault.  I am not a victim.  No one has ‘done’ anything to me.  No one ‘owes’ me anything.  And no one is coming to my rescue.  In all the things that I am found wanting, it is up to me to bring change.

So often we want to blame others for what is occurring in our lives.  We want it to be about them and not about us.  Well, I am here to tell you that whatever is going on with you…..IT’S YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT.  I am so tired of hearing about it being your parents, or the absence of your parents.  I’m tired of hearing about your significant other, or the absence of a significant other.  I’ m so tired of hearing about your job, or the absence of a job.   It’s none of those things, it’s YOU.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, in all areas of your life, what is the common denominator?  Yep, you guessed, YOU.

At this point, you may be asking, ‘if I it’s my own damn fault, how do I change things?’.  You change things by first changing your thoughts.  Then change your beliefs.  Last but certainly not least, you change your actions.

Think only the highest thoughts of yourself.  Envision what the ‘highest you’ looks like.  Begin to accept, nurture and BELIEVE those thoughts.  Now ask yourself, ‘Is this action in alignment with my highest self?’  Or simply put, is this the best I see for myself or can I see something better?  Don’t just stop at the first answer you come up with.  Stay with the question until you see the VERY BEST YOU and then act accordingly.

I can guarantee that if you follow these simple steps and question everything, you will soon find your world changing.  You will find that you now only attract what is ‘best’ for you.  You will attract the ‘best’ career, the ‘best’ mate, the ‘best’ home, the ‘best car……  Now if you want what you’ve always had, then don’t change a single thought, belief or action.  The only way to create something ‘better’ for yourself is to change from the old into the new.

‘As long as you keep doing what you’ve been doing then you are going to keep on getting what you’ve been getting.  If you don’t like what you’ve been getting then you’ve got to change what you’ve been doing.  -Zig Ziglar

In essence, if you don’t like your current position in life….IT’S YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT.
  Stop complaining and start changing.

Creating powerful and meaningful changes in my life,

J-licious

Well said sister. Until you can take responsibility for everything that occurs in your life you can not expect for anything to change. Cowardice or courage the choice is yours. Run or hide the choice is yours but remember its your own damn fault.
